DESCRIPTION:HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN CLOSE THE GAP?\n\nATTEND\n\nThere are TWO ways to attend Close the Gap!\n\n\n	The virtual Close the Gap event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on August 11. Admission is free\, which means you can bid on more auction items!\n	The in-person lunch + program at the Club is on August 11 and will have two seatings   11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.   to accommodate the comfort of all guests. The registration deadline for the live event is August 2.\n\n\nTHE LIVE EVENT\n\nThe in-person lunch + program at the Club is on August 11 in two intimate seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.\n\nAs a guest of the in-person event\, you will enjoy lunch\, an early viewing of the virtual event\, a live speech by our 2021 Youth of the Year\, Jayda DuPree\, a live demonstration by a Boys and Girls Club youth\, and youth-led tours of the newly completed Teen Center. Tickets for the lunch are first come\, first served.\n\nMORE ABOUT THE TEEN CENTER\n\nThe Teen Center renovations include a 16\,000 square foot expansion which houses multi-disciplinary space\, a gymnasium\, a stage\, a recording studio\, a weight room\, a computer lab\, and a lounge.\n\nMORE ABOUT OUR 2021 YOUTH OF THE YEAR\n\nJayda is a 17-year-old junior at the Academy of Information Technology & Engineering (class of 2022). At school\, Jayda was in the student council\, Mayor's Youth Leadership Council (MYLC)\, and Aspiring Leadership through Action (ALTA). Jayda wants to attend Clark University and major in Criminal Justice and Law.\n\nBECOME A SPONSOR\n\nYou can support Close the Gap by becoming a sponsor. Opportunities range from $100 to $10\,000 and include various benefits including a commercial.
